Front of the house

Our FOH team is the front-line for providing warm, genuine hospitality to our guests. Our service team is currently looking for the following positions:

  • Host

  • Support

  • Servers (open availability necessary!)


Back of the house

The backbone of our restaurant, our prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers help carry out Chef John Fleer's vision of sustainable, high-end Appalachian cuisine. Rhubarb is currently hiring the following positions:

  • Line Cook

  • Garde Manger/Dessert Station

  • Dish Machine Operators




Providing freshly baked breads, pastry, and desserts for Rhubarb and The Rhu, as well as wholesale accounts throughout Asheville,  our Pastry team is the best in town. We are currently in need of: 

  • Bread Baker (with at least one year of experience with both laminated and yeasted doughs)
